Youth Nature Programs
& Weekend Adventures
Our once-a-month weekend programs for youth ages 7–15 keep children and youth connected to nature all year long. Held in Charlottesville, Virginia, these immersive experiences foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of the outdoors.
Designed to provide a breath of fresh air during the busy school year, our Saturday and Sunday one day a month programs combine hands-on learning, exploration, and play. Students engage deeply with nature, community, and self, guided every step of the way by our experienced nature mentors.
For older kids and teens, our weekend-long Teen Apprentice Program (TAP) and TAP Fundamentals offer a space to grow into themselves while developing advanced earth skills, outdoor leadership, and ecological understanding. These programs help youth build resilience, creativity, and a sense of belonging within a supportive, mentorship-centered environment.
