Saturday programs keep nature connection alive in our students throughout the year, and are held with the caring support of skilled nature mentors!
We have found these programs to be an important breath of fresh air during the often busy school year. Come join us for deep connections with nature, community and self, with learning and fun woven tightly together.
Join us one Saturday a month as we take students on a learning journey with making and tending fires! Making fire by friction is an incredible survival skill. Over the course of the season students will be carving their own bow drill kits and practicing with them to be able to make a fire without a lighter or matches! They forage for tinder, learn how to safely set up and tend fires, and how to safely put out their fires.
