In the spring, our world comes alive with a plethora of new colors and textures. Have you ever wondered why they disappear so fast when spring is over?

These are called ephemerals, plants who put themselves on display only for a short time each year. Come witness this bloom with The Living Earth School. We will teach you unique facts about how these wildflowers enhance the forest and feed the fauna. Learn about wildflowers for food and medicine. There will be an opportunity to learn how to use a wildflower ID guide and draw your favorite flowers, and hang out with other naturalists who are fascinated like you!

You might even make your own cord from wild plants on which to hang your hand lens!

*hand lenses will be available for purchase. If you prefer to purchase your own our instructors recommend INSIZE 10x Folding Pocket Magnifier

Please read our COVID-19 Protocols Document HERE before registering.
