This class is part of Peter Yencken’s 2024 Making Weekend.

Make a packbasket out of Ash, Black Walnut, Poplar, or Cherry weavers, fitted with leather straps and a plywood lid!

Packbaskets are durable storage devices that you can carry with you wherever you go, and make a great alternative to that dirty old backpack you’ve been meaning to replace. Plus, unlike a normal backpack, you can choose whatever shape you want to make it. Stand out from the crowd!

Learn new skills, and make new friends. Basketmaking is just one of the projects Peter is offering this weekend, so you will be working alongside a number of other people making a number of different things!
