Bow and Arrow Making Weekend with Peter Yencken

Have you ever wanted to make your own bow? What about a quiver full of arrows to go with it?

This weekend is an opportunity for you to dig deep with an entire weekend focused on either making a bow and single arrow, or going all in on a full quiver of arrows – including the quiver! Each item has an additional material fee that you pay on the day of the workshop.

  • A wooden longbow complete with a string. You’ll go from a rough cut stave to a functioning bow. Things you’ll learn include how to rough out the form, balance the limbs, and string the bow. Peter will also make you an arrow so you can test the whole thing out. ($30 materials fee)

  • Already have a bow you like? Come make an entire quiver full of arrows, oh and the quiver too! This workshop will cover the basics of leatherworking as well as get you to a point where you could turn out your own arrows at home. ($40 materials fee)

Learn new skills, and make new friends.

Upon registration you pay the $180 base price to join for the whole weekend and then from there you get to choose which item(s) you wish to make. Each item has an additional material fee that you pay on the day of the workshop.

Please read our COVID-19 Protocols Document HERE before registering.
